Flailing over KARA today is quite unexpected...
...Much more flailing over the old KARA, the group which originally had 4 MEMBERS. ♫♪

It started when I randomly browsed KARA vids on Youtube. Usually I watch STEP or Pandora or their usual famous MVs, but then I stumbled upon the song Words I Couldn't Keep ** from their debut album The First Blooming. Little is known about KARA's early days; this song was and is hardly performed by the group. But I, alongside with Kamilias who commented positively on the song, find it beautiful and now demanding for 5-member KARA to perform this someday~

** (I'm not sure about the title because there's another title--"Broken Promise". I just assumed Words I Couldn't Keep is the OST from Broken Promise. LOL whatever ^_^")

I already explored 4-member KARA a few months ago and I soooo appreciated their style which is completely different from their present style/s. But this is the first time I listened closely, and I heard ex-member Kim Sung Hee and her beautiful voice! ♪

She left KARA because of personal (school?) matters, and is currently giving vocal lessons to young students who want to become singers. Just a proof that Sunghee is really good in singing! NOW I LOVE HER~ ♥

wikipedia says: The group (KARA) originally started off as a quartet and made their debut with "Break It" (2007) while displaying a strong female image and a mature R&B sound.

I felt super happy for that information. It makes me feel that KARA, despite one of the underdog groups in KPop, has the same quality that I love in NEWS: diversity. I always say that I love NEWS because NEWS is diverse; KARA is, too. From the original "strong female image and a mature R&B sound", the group has evolved into a "pretty but natural" (and sexier!) in appeal. I can't say that KARA 4 is better than KARA 5, but KARA 5 cannot surpass KARA 4 either.

Yeah, the thoughts of a blooming KARA fan :D
